Scott D. Malkin, Chairman
Scott Malkin is the founder and Chairman of Value Retail PLC. He also serves as Chairman of S.D. Malkin Properties, Inc. which develops retail, residential and hotel projects in the United States. Scott Malkin is a Trustee of the New York Public Library, and is a Vice Chair of the Urban Land Institute as well as Chair of the Urban Land Institute Europe.
Roderick V. Gibbs, Managing Director
Roderick Gibbs joined the Company in 1993 as a co-founding Director primarily responsible for the development, operations and administration of Value Retail’s new projects. He is also a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
Desirée M. Bollier, Chief Executive, Value Retail Management
Desirée Bollier joined the Company in 2001 and has responsibility for overseeing the management of all nine Villages operated by Value Retail. Desirée has a background in fashion retail, working and travelling extensively in Asia, the Middle East, Europe and the United States.
N. George Host, Executive Director
George Host is a co-founding Director of the Company and oversees corporate matters. He is a director of S.D. Malkin Properties, Inc. and a member of the board of the Connecticut League of Conservation Voters.

Mark Burton
Mark Burton was appointed a Non-Executive Director on 1 November 2007. He also serves as a member of the Board of Directors of The Hudson Bay Trading Company and London & Stamford Property Plc, the Investment Committee of Internos Real Investors and the Real Estate Advisory Board of Norges Bank Investment Management. He is an advisor to Citic Capital Real Estate and a member of Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors,
Leslie Chao
Leslie Chao was appointed a Non-Executive Director on 25 July 2006 and has been affiliated with Value Retail PLC since 1992. Until 2008 he served as Chief Executive Officer of Chelsea Property Group, the world’s largest outlet shopping mall company, which was acquired by Simon Property Group in 2004. Mr Chao currently also serves as a Non-Executive Director of Phillips Edison ARC Shopping Center REIT, a non-publicly traded REIT that invests in shopping centres in the United States.
Tom DeRosa
Tom DeRosa was appointed a Non-Executive Director on 6 July 2005 and is a Director of Retail Opportunity Investments Corp. He was formerly Vice Chairman and Chief Financial Officer of The Rouse Company, a US real estate company that was acquired in 2004 by General Growth Properties, Inc. He spent over 20 years in investment banking and, prior to joining Rouse, was a Managing Director and Global Co-Head of Deutsche Bank's Health Care Investment Banking Group based in London. Tom is member of the Board of Directors of Health Care REIT (NYSE: HCN) where he is the Chairman of the Audit Committee and CBL Associates Properties Inc. (NYSE: CBL). He is a former Director of Dover Corporation (NYSE: DOV) and is also a member of the Board of Directors of Georgetown University in Washington, DC.
James Lambert
James Lambert was appointed a Non-Executive Director on 16 October 1995 and is a Director of Lisburne Holdings Ltd, a property company. He is Chair of the Trustees of IntoUniversity, which provides local learning centres across London where young people from disadvantaged backgrounds are inspired to achieve a University place.
Janie Ligon
Janie Ligon was appointed a Non-Executive Director on 3 July 2001 and takes an active role with group-wide retail and marketing activities in the business. Janie has a background in marketing, finance, sales and product production for wholesale/retail clothing and consumer products businesses.
Lord Maples of Stratford-upon-Avon
John Maples was appointed a Non-Executive Director on 3 April 2000. John was, for 23 years, a Member of Parliament before being awarded a Life Peerage in the last Dissolution Honours List. He was a Treasury Minister from 1990-1992, and subsequently a member of the Shadow Cabinet. John also twice served as Deputy Chairman of the Conservative Party.
He has served as a Director for a number of public and private companies, and currently sits on the Boards of Transcalm plc, Agatha Christie Ltd and Foresight Solar VCT plc.
回老兄话,官方信息比较模糊,唯亭招商局那边传来的消息说是年中开始动工,开业时间只提过一句说是2013年中期。
招商国内还没启动,应该会参考天津佛罗伦萨小镇的手法,国际大牌先下手,在欧洲直接签。毕竟Value Retail有9家实体,大牌轻车熟路。

大舞台?说的是时尚舞台吗?昨天有聊过,暂时还没应对策略出台。不过时尚舞台和他们的位置距离太近,虽然距离市区都很远,但舞台的路好找点。舞台自从富高团队撤走后,国际一线品牌的招商资源更加捉襟见肘。舞台现在是走的野路子,但辛苦付出总有点回报,去年也算走出了点名堂。看Value Retail的落位了。
