当晒版机在正常的抽气时间内抽气，操作人员发觉抽气时底版与玻璃板之间残留部分气体，或聚或散在那里游动，而抽气机就是抽不尽。这种情况下，操作人员就可以采用拍击法，即以所用的力度以拍不碎玻璃板为适中，在晒版机一边抽气的情况下，操作人员一边对准空气的集中区拍击玻璃板的上表面，尽可能使残余的空气散开，不聚在一起。
